The Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology holds many valued items and documents belonging to Sakichi and Kiichiro Toyoda. We hope these treasures bring you closer to the source of the spirit behind gmaking thingsh and gbeing studious and creativeh.

Visitors can use the learning facilities such as the library and the video library for independent research etc.
Toyota Group Building
The former head office of Toyoda Spinning & Weaving Co., Ltd., originally constructed in 1925, has been completely restored and holds many of Sakichi and Kiichiro Toyodafs personal belongings and papers.
Toyoda Shokai Office
Sakichi Toyoda established hToyoda Shokai@Officeh in 1902 as a company for inventing, researching and developing the automatic loom. This building itself was built in 1905 and was both the residence and the work place for Sakichi, the place where he devoted all his time and energy into developing the automatic loom.
Library
The Library has a collection of approximately 55,000 titles (books, magazines and audiovisual materials) related to science, engineering, industry, automobiles, textile and fashion.
Video Library
The Video Library holds approximately 300 titles, from museum guidance videos to exhibition presentations, commemorative images from the beginning of Toyota Motors to our present day activities, corporate introduction videos and more. Simply select the title you wish to view on the touch monitor and watch at your leisure.
Museum Shop

Our shop offers items exclusive to the Museum, books and merchandise regarding automobiles and textile.

Restaurant
The Brick-Age Restaurant presents delicious dishes and light snacks in a relaxed atmosphere.
Museum Cafe
The cafe facing the garden is ideal for meeting friends and taking a break after the tour.
