Exhibition to Commemorate the Official Start of Toyota Cars

On September 14, 1936, a grand event was held to unveil new Toyoda cars at Tokyo-fu Shoko Shorei-kan (Tokyo Hall for Commercial and Industrial Promotion) in Marunouchi, Tokyo. A total of 15 vehicles were exhibited, including Toyoda's first passenger car, the Model AA, the Model AB Phaeton (convertible), the Model GA truck (successive model for G1 truck), and the Model DA bus. Visitors included government officials and many citizens with interest in cars. The number of visitors during the three-day event exceeded 20,000, reflecting the high expectations and interest in domestic vehicles.
