The Toyota Collection – a Planned Exhibition
Learn about the origins of Japanese craftsmanship and its progress over time, beginning with the introduction of matchlock guns and mechanical clocks.

Learn all about the much-anticipated new hydrogen fuel cells for vehicles, details about their properties, and practical applications.

Tuesday, January 5th and Wednesday, January 6th
The Winter Holiday Discovery and Experience Museum
We’ll be holding a number of craftsmanship events over 2 days during the winter holiday that will be fun for everyone. • The first 100 people that arrive can create a cardboard Toyota G1 model truck. • The first 200 people to arrive can build a static electricity motor, showing how friction can cause an object to spin. • The first 300 people to arrive can make a round coaster at the ‘tattered cloth experience’ exhibition.

The Spring Holiday Discovery and Experience Museum
We’re putting on a number of events that will allow visitors to experience and explore the true meaning and importance of craftsmanship. • Use a water sensor to light up an LED lamp. • Create a mug-shaped accessory case using raffia. • Build a Tensegrity (floating compression) Tower.

A Special Event in Honour of the Museum’s Anniversary
A ’Nori Nori’ Exciting Weekend
In celebration of the museum’s anniversary, we’ll be offering free admission and the following events: • Test drives of first-generation models of the Crown, Corolla, and Celica cars. • A display of running versions of the AA model car and the G1 model truck. • The Hand-woven Tapestry Experience.
