The Four Merits of Experiential Learning at the Toyota Commemorative Museum for Industry and Technology
1. A Comprehensive Exhibition
The important points in the exhibition are easy to show and see because automobile factories then and now, technological research-related exhibits, and the successive generations of the Toyota automobiles are displayed in one location.
2. A Comparative Exhibition
Children can identify the measures employed in the current factories by comparing between the technologies in the past and at present because the transitions in production technologies in the factories are presented.
3. Staff Who are Ready to Answer Your Questions
The in-house staff who have worked in factories will answer children’s questions from the current viewpoints. Children’s learning will deepen by asking questions as the staff explains the contents that children cannot grasp only from seeing the exhibits.
4. Can Carefully Observe the Movements of Machines Up Close
You can see the processes focused on welding and coating that cannot be observed in real-life factories. You can carefully observe the machine demonstrations while sensing the compelling power of machinery.
